Six-piece Country/Folk Band Smoke & The Poet will take the stage at The Black Twig on Friday, July 12th. Come out for dinner, drinks, and live music from the Luray based band Smoke & The Poet.
Smoke & the Poet is an upcoming Country band taking Virginia by storm. The band is led by North Idaho native singer/songwriter, Joey Kuplack, whose catchy melodies and poetic lyrics challenge the country genre. Joey brings real experiences and his love of adventure to his songs which are given life through the band's unique and energetic sound and instrumental blend, featuring fiddle, banjo, and electric guitar.
Smoke & The Poet is forging it's own path in the country genre with a sound and storytelling that is born in the Rockies but living in the Blue Ridge. The band operates out of Virginia's beautiful Shenandoah Valley, taking inspiration from both the land and the people. Over the past year, Smoke & The Poet has been keeping the people hopping at music festivals and venues.
